Minotaur is Twenty!  

Minotaur Software has just turned twenty and we want to say thank you to our customers for making our success possible. We have learned a great deal from you over the years and the software has undergone many exciting changes from our early days. When we first began, we helped manufacturers and distributors ‘computerize’ their bookkeeping and production processes. Because businesses had just one computer, the Minotaur crew worked mainly evenings when the customer wasn’t using the computer. Our first office space was at 473 Garyray drive in Weston (a suburb of Toronto—photo above). Minotaur made a few moves over the years and in anticipation of the opening of Hwy 407 (which gave us better access to all parts of the Greater Toronto area), in 1995, we moved just north of the highway to 12 Automatic Road in Brampton. In 2003, we purchased a building just up the street at 18 Automatic Road, Unit 27 which we call home today.

Minotaur continues to be dedicated to offering mid-sized manufacturers and distributors a technologically competitive product at a fair price while ensuring that the software adapts to your unique business needs, so you don’t have to adapt to it. As our industry is continually changing, we remain dedicated to helping you get the most out of your Minotaur investment. The Minotaur Team Expands
Tom Stopnicki has joined Minotaur to lead our business development effort. Tom has a strong background in high tech sales most recently representing Wireless Workplace, focused on wireless warehousing and logistics solutions. Tom has spent over 10 years in the Manufacturing vertical, working with various ERP vendors and Solution Integrators. He is married with four children—two girls and twin boys all under the age of 7.

Wendy Pineo has joined Minotaur’s front office. Wendy is a part-time college instructor at Sheridan College teaching accounting, word, powerpoint and excel. She will be helping out our sales team by performing software demonstrations to potential clients. Wendy’s 18 years of experience in bookkeeping and administration will help keep things running smoothly while Michelle is on maternity leave. When not at Minotaur, Wendy enjoys biking with her husband and 2 children near their home in Georgetown.
