| The second edition of the GUI interface
provides a mechanism for the user to define short cuts
to menu paths. Once a short cut has been defined the user
simply clicks on the ICON to activate the function. The
shortcuts are stored on the user's local drive and thus
are specific to the work station not the user. The icons
are company specific as well. For example shortcuts assigned
in your data system are not available in your test system.
The program comes with a limited number of available icons
that can be assigned to the short cut. These icons are
generally placed in the utility\images folder in the root
Minotaur directory. It is also possible to create custom
ICONS. We recommend that the icon be no larger than 32x32
pixels. The image must be saved in PNG, GIF, JPG or BMP
format. The ICONS can be created using any graphics software
capable of saving images in one of these formats or downloaded
from a free icon website. Eg. We downloaded this cash
register icon which could be used for a one click running
your cash position report- |
