Your Minotaur Annual Maintenance Agreement entitles users of
MBS6 to a no-charge upgrade to MBS6.2 when you next receive an upgrade (whether that is your
annual no-charge upgrade or an upgrade that you acquire for other purposes). Please contact
us to discuss your options in this regard.
For those customers using the old MBS4 console client interface, Minotaur expects to
continue supporting that interface for the foreseeable future. Please contact us if
you are interested in upgrading to the MBS6.2 GUI client interface.
Sales Order and Template Order Bulk Edit By Terry Eagles
Recently a bulk edit function was created for sales orders. The input screen is shown below.
The function was designed for template sales orders but has an option to re-price regular
sales orders. Bulk edits of sales orders is more complex because of links to other aspects
of the system. If there is interest, a version could be created to extend the insert and
remove item functionality to regular sales orders.
Currently Bulk Edit Orders supports the following functions.
Re-price Regular and Template orders. This function is very useful after a price increase. This function offers both the customer and part selector screens for filtering and applies the current pricing to the target sales orders or template orders.
Add Item to Template. This function uses the customer selector screen to select the templates to be updated. The program adds the specified Item and quantity to the end of the template.
Remove Item from Template. This function also uses the customer selector screen to select the templates. The specified item is removed from all selected templates.
