Automatically Email Customer Statements

Do you send out numerous customer statements? Are support staff spending too many hours on this repetitive and tedious task?

Batch generate your customer statements and invoices and have the system automatically send via email. Simply set up the email address under the customer contacts tab with the appropriate contact type.
 
 
Once the initial set up is complete, each month simply run the email customer statements menu and let the system do the rest. Free up your support staff’s time for other duties. For more information on adding this functionality to your Minotaur system, please contact your project manager for details.
 
 
Fixed Asset Module
 
  Minotaur has released a new module to add to our full business management suite offering; the Fixed Asset Module. Now you can incorporate your capital assets and the corresponding depreciation schedules in your Minotaur system. Classify your assets, select the depreciation method, control postings and more. Minotaur Software’s ongoing mission is to provide our customers with one core system to manage all of their business requirements. You asked for it and we delivered. Take the opportunity to come to the user conference and learn more. The full agenda for this year’s conference can be found on page 2 of this newsletter.

Through donations and in partnership with volunteers, SCAW gives bed kits to needy children in developing countries.   Sales Report Writer – Level 1
User Generated Sales Reports using Minotaur’s report writing wizard. This workshop is an overview of our standard 3 hour course. It will take you through using filters and subtotals to create sales reports sorted how you want and displaying only the columns of information you need. It’s easy. Don’t be shy – give it a try.

  Adding Calculated Fields to User Defined Sales Reports
Once you have mastered the basics of user defined sales reports, add additional columns of information for variance $, variance %, % of forecast, etc. Find out how to take your sales reports to the next level.

  Multi Table Flexible Reports
This session will review the use of key fields in extracting information from multiple tables including reports with group subtotals. Attendees should already have an understanding of the screens and mechanisms used in creating flexible reports using a single table.

This session will discuss the use of linked lists. The linked list function enables a user to create summarized or matrix reports. The linked list function adds an entirely new dimension to the flexible report program enabling the user to create very complex reports.

As part of completing the Queen’s Executive MBA program, Judith travelled to Venice, Italy recently to work on a marketing plan for an organic winery that would like to export their products to Canada. During her trip, she visited the winery, called Savian, as well as the bottle manufacturer, the organic certifying company and other area wineries. Back home she will work with her teammates to try and help this company navigate the LCBO and other liquor control board rules across the Canadian provinces to provide insights to the Italian producer on how to best launch their products successfully. Judith looks forward to completing her MBA by the end of this year.

Congratulations to Sharon Steward of Win Chemicals and Doug McInnis of Skjodt-Barrett Foods for winning the August contest.
 
Sharon works in account payables and inventory control.
She also works with invoicing and orders. In her spare time she loves to read, and spend time with her three grandchildren, Brent, Paige and Naomi.
 
 
Doug is the Chief Financial officer at Skjodt-Barrett Foods. In his spare time he enjoys both watching and playing sports. Toronto teams are his favorite!
