| Minotaur Software’s container system enables businesses to build, transfer and ship containers of product, in addition to assigning bin locations within a given warehouse. Whether it is a box, pallet or trailer containing a single item or mixed items, warehouse efficiencies will be increased as item location and handling processes are improved. When used in conjunction with Minotaur’s hand held interface, pallet bar code labels can be scanned and containers managed in the same manner as any other inventory item. |

- Containers are serialized; all transactions involving containerized product must reference this serial number thus maintaining inventory control.
- Containers can be placed in other containers. Ie. product can be containerized into cases, these cases containerized into pallets and the pallets containerized into trailers, etc.
- Transactions can involve both containerized and free stock (non containerized) product.
- Handles automatic containerization of production output and consumption of full containers of raw materials.
- When shipping and invoicing items by the container serial number, the system will generate the line item detail for the container.

- When used with the inventory module, detailed history on each item is maintained even when the user only sees the container level of the transaction.
- Packing slips can be printed identifying individual container contents while the invoice simply reports the quantity of each product shipped.
