Minotaur’s touch screen production module with live weigh scale monitoring and bar code capable label printer is an efficient way of recording weighted product, as it is being made. Especially valuable in environments where using a keyboard is too slow, production areas are messy and wet or operators are wearing thick gloves.

Unique serial numbers are created for each piece weighed with bar coded labels produced for easy scanning.
Labels produced can display information from customer,order and item such as customer name, customer code, order number, item code, item description, net product weight and production date.
Tare weights are utilized to ensure labels and production information reflect the actual weight of the product being produced.

Additional Features
Product is produced and allocated against a specific sales order or work order. When producing to fill a large order,multiple production lines can be working against the same order. Ongoing production data is available on screen.
Operators are advised when they have produced the required quantity. Over producing is eliminated.
Weight allowances can be utilized to advise operators if the product weight for a given case is outside the desired tolerance.
Production information is captured real time in your Minotaur System.
Working against a sales order, creates a shipment within the system allowing office staff to batch print invoices and packing documents containing individual case weights and serial numbers.

Minotaur will be happy to consult with your hardware provider to review the specifications of your scale, touch screen and label printer purchase for optimal use with Minotaur’s touch screen interface—we do not sell hardware but can direct you to hardware providers that other Minotaur customers have used successfully. We have experience printing to several models of label printers and are happy to test any existing hardware in our office for compatibility.
